Purebble is excited to announce our partnership with Korean K9 Rescue!
After stumbling across Korean K9 Rescue, we knew we had to get involved. Korean K9 Rescue, or KK9R, is a dedicated, volunteer-driven organization based in Queens, New York, with a mission to rehabilitate and find loving homes for dogs rescued from dire situations in South Korea. Founded in response to the ongoing dog meat trade and the stigma surrounding mixed-breed dogs in South Korea, this no-kill rescue focuses on saving canines from high-kill shelters and puppy mills.
After rehabilitation and training in Korea, rescued dogs are then sent to the United States to find their forever homes. Since its inception, Korean K9 Rescue has successfully saved over 3,500 dogs, providing them with a second chance at life.
KK9R not only emphasizes the importance of rescue but also actively promotes awareness about animal welfare issues in South Korea. Through partnerships with local organizations, they work tirelessly to dismantle illegal dog meat farms and advocate for legislative reforms.
